We are in the middle of packing our house up as well as packing for our trip to Washington, but I had to share this sign that I updated really quick! Super quick and easy project!
Here is the sign before… I think I picked this frame up at a yard sale several years ago…. I added a piece of cardboard, painted it with chalkboard paint from Hobby Lobby and then cut out this phrase from the silhouette store. But that was like 3 or 4 years ago, so it was time for an update!
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the letters out of regular adhesive vinyl. Since I mainly use my silhouette for my etsy shop, I forget how fun it is to make a project for the house! The fonts I used for “Let’s” and “Home” us just Times and the font for “Stay” is called Ilana bloom, one of my favorites! Don’t forget to weld your cursive font. I cut with my blade on 2, thickness 5, and speed 7! The most important part is to remember to peel out the actual letters, to make a stencil. I can’t tell you how many times I messed this up making other signs.
That’s it! Super simple! What cool projects have y’all done with your Silhouette or Cricut? I’d love to hear about them! Okay off to packing, and a closing so we can officially begin construction!
